Hamilton is a musical about the life of Alexander Hamilton, who was the first U.S. Secretary of the Treasury and one of the Founding Fathers of the United States. The show follows him through his early days as an orphan in New York to his rise through politics as one of America’s most influential figures.

The Book of Mormon

The Book of Mormon is a musical comedy about two young Mormon missionaries who travel to Uganda in hopes of converting the locals. The show has been running since 2011, making it one of London’s longest-running shows.

The Book of Mormon is known for its humour, which is mostly based on stereotypes and exaggerations of American culture (for example: “Mormons don’t drink coffee”). It also pokes fun at religious practices such as baptism and missionary work. The play was co-written by South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone with Robert Lopez (who later wrote Frozen).

If you’re looking for something light-hearted with some laughs thrown in, then this could be just what you need!

Phantom of the Opera

The show opened at Her Majesty’s Theatre on 9th October 1986 for a limited run until 11th April 1988 before transferring to Broadway’s Majestic Theatre later that year where it ran until 30th June 1990 (1,876 performances). In 2004 it reopened at its current home at Queen’s Theatre where it continues today having been seen by over 65 million people worldwide since opening day!
